Dang I wish I had ridden more the past year so I could have safely gone out on Saturday to ride. It was impressive for sure. I figured it would be good for my ski to sit out on Saturday. The largest waves I've ridden with my ski are about 2'-3' :laugh2: I can kitesurf huge hurricane waves no problem but the ski is a challenge!!!
Chirs's flips on the blaster are sick. He's the only one I've seen do it and it's awe inspiring to watch. :hail: The guy is cool.

wavedemon....lol that was the most classic slutty turn around attempt ive ever read,I feel ya though,For this guy to be a new rider and come out and crush the piss out of all other ole timer B1 riders with clean backies is saying something,the haters can downplay all they want,you backie a freakin B1 you are the man period......I spoke with him on the phone about it,got some ideas and gave him props,and i dont even know the guy really! and you are correct I razed zimmy about it the whole week and he went out the following big surf day and freakin killed a huge backie on the b1 TRIMLESS..thats when you know you are balllllllzzzzzzzzzzzy.Chris is using a pretty high degree trim to make it that clean I am workin on gettin a trim system on my b1,I just dont have it like that to try it without one yet,to scetchy for me to go 2 storys up to make it.
I know Jerry had not done a backy yet on the b1 at the last tona meet,I spoke with him about it.unless he has got one since that I dont know about,rolls huge though,so that alone should tell you something.Think Idok had it confused with rolls?

I agree completly, I did not mean to say that everyone else cant do it..... Just that I have only seen a video of someone sucsefully doing it over seas.
If anything I hope people are reading this chit saying..... aww man, I can do that. It's a little thing called PROGRESSION..... Something this sport has not seen much of in a few years. imo... I spoke with a friend last night who is an O-side local......He was telling us stories about flipping SJ's in 98/99 (no holds, maybe lifters..otherwise stock ski's....)....
then a year later came the bigger boats (B1's and WRIII's/VXR's)..
The guy's names who were doing this are legendary in this sport, and you will know every one of them.
Hell, a few years ago either saki or stricky told me a story about some dude flipping a GPR...Dont know if it was on-purpose or not.....Maybe it was the waveeater guy???
Point is, none of this stuff is new...Its just new to us, but if you do your research and talk to the right people you might just come up with something FACTUAL
