Is the hull in question somehow still the unbuilt hull that Lone Octane owned like 8 years ago?
I can do this with my 459lb and 16oz SNThat hull would be fine for a rec lake riding hull chasing boats, doing rolls and stabs, etc.
Same. I'm already rolling it. But I would like a more playful hull.I can do this with my 459lb and 16oz SN
Building an F1pro is not going to save you any time or money in the long or short run of things. There's a lot of fitment snafus and unforeseen material costs. thus can be said for any kit or incomplete layup for that matter.. You really need to be patient and save some cash.. summer is coming to a close soon and people will start unloading hulls and complete skis. granted your budget is fairly low. but that being said..why don't you have a conversation with your original hull partner and see what can be done?
-Dumping all your parts then repurchasing a same part used second hand again is senseless. we see what you post and the merry go round you're on. if your square and your ignition and ported cylinders are serving you well. Then maybe its best to just stick with it and SAVE.. not a lot of sense and inquiring about things that may be out of reach and potentially wasting someone's (builder/seller's) time. Not a rant, But money talks around here and just be mindful and patient. Good luck in your search.

I came here for blunt answers, not to be coached on how all the decisions I'm making are wrong.
People have been answering your questions and giving advice. When you come here asking questions your going to get answers. That is what people have done. I don't think I saw anybody telling you what you did wrong.I don't even know if the guy is even working on hulls anymore. Hasnt been on the x for weeks. I've talked to him many times and never gotten anywhere. That idea is abandoned and it sucks that it had to go down that way. I dumped my old parts because the plan was to use that money for the hull. The hull never happened. I had my hopes up.
And that sure came off as a rant.
