What builders sell incomplete/project hulls?

I have an x-jet top on a shortened sn bottom. Really fun ski. Not a barrel like the original bottom deck.

And listen to the ones that have done it. I bought a good deal sold off my stuff for the hull. 7 years later I'm riding it and was stuck a year with no ski then a turd with a stock 650 and pipe. I don't regret it now, but man was it a long hard expensive road.

It's well worth the extra money up front to get a hull compete. Save you loads of time and money and many headaches down the road.

If I had to pick one right now I would go rage composites. Price and quality right on point.

Rosie, you have more experience than me with composites so take this with a grain of salt, but after my FX-1 build i wished i had just spent the money on a used AM hull for like 3-4K. hell, I would bet the OT hours I gave up to work on it could have paid for a brand new carbon hull.... Good luck with your search. I guess if your motivation was trying to develop new composite skills through a new build then I'd say go for it. if motivation is trying to save money i think you would be hard pressed to do so even if you got the hull for free....that is, if you are anything like me and waste half of your supplies messing up lol. :)

I might as well just keep dreaming and wait till I graduate college and get a steady job before I endup being able to get a hull.
I apologize for the sassiness. I'm just extremely pissed that I had my hopes up for a whole entire year about getting a hull that was partially inspired by me promised to me months ago, and none of it ever happened. It was the only way I could've afforded a hull at this point of time in my life. Now I'm just left in the dark wondering what in the world happened with all of that.

I didn't want to kill your buzz, but I can say with certainty you won't save money buying a kit and end up with unexpected expense and headaches.

Seriously do this, I have been through a handful of inexpensive aftermarket hulls and just now found one I really like. Don't get me wrong, I liked most of the other ones but in hindsight they weren't worth the money over a nice superjet hull.
