The v10 is a swift bike. Can't say I've ever seen a 350lb dude do a downhill run though. ^^ fat bikes aren't for me. I'm sure they're nice in a sandy corner though.
How much protective gear do you guys wear when you are going fast and getting silly!? I feel like I am paying (quite a bit too!) to go and get new road rash and new scars at this point! I don't want to over do it on the gear......but man I am getting beat up!
Dirtjumping? I'm not firmiliar with the park you're riding. But if it's DJ, chest protector (mx style) and a light downhill full face would be what I'd go for. Maybe shin guards.
Yes DJ indoors on wooden tracks....huge and beastly evil wooden tracks! I have the 661 carbon full face..saved me a few times already...I have shin guards too but have not been wearing them...and now have a golf ball size knot on my shin . I need a chest protector bad because my shoulders have new tattoos everywhere....this place is nuts!! Who makes a decent low profile fair price chest protector.
man I hate gearing up so much but I am getting beaten!!
Darin it is slammed on Sundays (because it is cheap after 4PM) but actually a little more fun with all the chaos and traffic. The other days are totally mellow and 2 days ago Zack and I were like 2 of 10 bikes in the entire place. The vids just don't do the place justice at all! That vid was funny though! LOL.
I literally can not stop myself from going faster every time I go! I just need to get better... cuz I know I wasn't the first set of tires on that wall!!
I never got around to buying a bike but now that I'm back down at school I'm looking to get a bike since I don't have a ski any more. What do you guys think about this bike?
This thing is literally brand new. he rode it like twice. I ended up getting it for 120. Go8ng to ride a local trail tomorrow. Since I don't have a ski it will hopefully be my new adrenaline rush.
