What Pete may be buying???

Let's clear something up... There has only be ONE run of hulls done (I believe the count was 5 carbons, 5 fiberglass). The next batch is not suppose to be available for 6 months - I am sure these issues will be addressed. Plus if they were that huge of a deal (hulls blowing apart, etc), I am sure we would have heard something about it by now other then rumors.

This being said, I purchased one of the first production hulls, which RRP recommending reinforcing in some areas before being sold, and it was big time. The ones that people were owning/riding during and right after world finals were NOT reinforced as far as I know.

I'll be sure to post how mine is holding up, but mine won't see surf abuse (no where no the ocean or big water).

My 2 cents.

the Xscream tent had a couple that were reinforced, and a couple that were not...

Pat rec'd to reinforce them as well......

I love that little ski!!!!

Pete get an X2! You would win any comp you entered just because you were riding something different. Plus it would be sweet to see some of your huge backies on an X2. You can run your X-Scream engine, we won't mind.

Cobra is who builds the FS1, the same guys building Hydro spaces that were not even holding up to racing originally. 6 months before they build anymore FS1's? What are they on strike or something? Who knows what is going on over there across the sea.

The first run was not built strong enough.... Now they are being sold as reinforced and weigh 100lbs. If thats what someone wants, go for it... Just know what you are buying.

But, People who road the FS1 at daytona really seem to like it, I wish I would have got on it.

Trinity's Weight to Strength ratio is so far beyond everything else I have seen in the industry. Sorry but its true, if it hurts say ouch.

With that said, I would wait and see what the finshed Matrix hull turns out to be. After riding the Proto I dont think there will be any dissapointments.

Looks like I am back in my prime..... Just giving my honest opinion. :sadwavey:

EME hull for the surf. Not the Q8! The original EME style hull. Eric sells them for about 6k. I would reccomend reinforcing it and/or specify to eric that it is for the surf. The 08 superjet is hear mixed reviews on. Eric might even give you a deal.......maybe......he can be pretty stingy :haha:
