What Pete may be buying???

how many hulls has trinity produced?how many are on the water?

10 boats, but I think only 6 have hit the water.... soon there will be a few more. The other few boats I think its still frozen where they are. But there are already order's for many more to come this year.

I think there are over 20 hoods out there now as well. I think it will still be a few years before you see any kind of damage to a Trinity..... But chit can happen. I am amazed that Joshes boat was still perfect after the disgusting lawn dart at the Beach race.

10 boats, 20 or so hoods, and basically two new sets of hull molds in one year. Not bad for one guy with ocasional help from one or two other's.

pete i remember seeing pictures of your old hull wammer or stock...just remember the hull and how hard you can beat on it.

Yours was made for "you" from what i have heard from "you" so..that means you can have that hull and go crack free for years on it

but what ever you choose will be good no matter what!

Hey Pete it was good to get to know you a little bit saturday. You are the real deal and great for the sport. Did you ever get to ride the Rickter that was there, We are seirous about getting a couple of them to build up. I was just looking for some "possitive" feed back before writing the check.

You guys are a trip... My first Choice would be FS1. Second would be trinity. But I am waiting to ride one.

The FS1 was awesome in the surf.

If I dont get what I want for my Hull. I will keep it and throw more motor at it.

Torr masterblaster, great post. that is what I was thinking too. :headbang:

I think I am going to take Brian up on the 550 deal though.. Thats my best option right now. :silly:

Thanks for the info and opinions on this thread.. Its cool to hear what you guys are thinking...

why is that? i havnt heard anything about it.

In all fairness to malone, people with skills and a similar body type and size to Malone seem to do well on it. Lee Stone can ride it pretty well. Both of those guys are probably 5'-8" and 150 lbs. The biggest thing I noticed when Pierre rode it was that the nose stayed pointed to the sky. I could never attempt to ride it well because I have trouble on an FX-1. I'd say that the Q8 is a decent attempt at a flatwater freestyle hull geared towards smaller riders. It's not the best and not the worst. It's not on my wish list because I'm a 6' fatass.

steve, how much trouble would it be to add the fx-1 style hull with a flushed nose bracket to your production list?

IMO if I was Pete with his riding skills, I would stick with the hull that Steve built specifically for him. Like said earlier, he used a lightweight hull and destroyed it in a few rides. Pete rides too hard and too big for a lightweight hull. He has the perfect hull as is for his style. Bobby could probably build a hull a bit lighter and stronger but would it be worth the money he would spend on it? Thats a choice only pete could make. All I know is, he will rip on whatever he decides to use. Steve knew what Pete can do and what he can do to a hull and built him the perfect ski, and I give steve huge props for building a hull that stands up to his abuse for the ammount of time he has had it.

Basically whatever you decide pete, you will rip on it. But lightweight at your aggresion level i dont think is an option unless you want to spend the extra couple thousand.

Great post. Man.... I love my SKi... but also loved that fs1 and the newer style short "flickable" hull.

My wcf is bullet proof and I love it.

I really don't know what to do.

If it pans out and is supposed to be.. then we will see.

Otherwise I will keep mine..

Hands down to Steve... He built a Pete hull and did great !

Maybe I should loose some of my spare tire around my waist.. hehhe

^^^^^ Because everone who has posted in this thread knows better then buying a Waterdawg. If he ordered one now I guess he could have one by maybe 2013/
