I really don't have influence in that area... I will mention it though.

last years sticker wasn't easy to remove, but with some sticker remover I got the residue off pretty easily without damaging my paint. we (the junkies) had a couple fall off of skis during the ride this year. just be careful removing it. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

I ingested water on wednesday and joe b tried to tow me in (i was out past the breaks) but his tow rope was only for show. the lifeguards saw what was happening and came right out and towed me in. Well worth the $25 for me. I sat in the water for less than 5 min.

you can put it anywhere... You just need to be able to produce it or the paperwork...

All registration stickers should be put where they can be seen. One day, the lifeguards will actually be able to organize themselves and learn how to enforce policy. Then you'll be stopped every 5 mins and pulled off the water to have the sticker checked because it is not visable.

Like your registration numbers. It's not about producing the paperwork. not only can you be wriiten a ticket for not having your numbers visable, but you can get a ticket for having the numbers spaced improperly.

last year, i asked the lifeguard that issued me my 1month pass, if i could put in on the underside of my pole. he wanted me to show him where i was talking about. i pointed to the area just above the breather tubes on the bottom of my xmetal pole.

he said, "sure, no problem."

he was using his own judgement for that event. however, the more they know about people sliding by w/o paying, the more theyre going to start enforcing the rules and making people put stickers all in the same place on every ski.... which might not necessarily work for every ski.

They let me do the same. Lifeguards we're all very nice and helpful.

To me those stickers are a badge of honor. If your ski has decent paint they wont do damage. It's also frustrating to know that there are those who don't appreciate having help on the beach especially if you've ever been in deep ********e or have ridden on the west coast or Jersey where they chase you out of the break at best. Chiselers.

what was last year? 12K??

we sold half the tickets of last year... we went through and entire roll of tickets + some on a new roll last year. This year we didn't even get through a roll.... The dynamic of the ride has changed to people come, don't pay beach patrol for their passes, then put nothing in for the charitys...

Seems like lot's of people use the event for a good time and don't contribute now... I will do my best to make it harder for the spongers toget away w/ that.

People suck, I bought tickets from your wife first thing in the AM and I didnt ever know what the prizes were yet. I would gladly pay 50 bucks for a beach pass for the great time I had.:bananalama:
