That's the way it was at SFF. That's how I knew I had won the one & only prize I got. The system works great.

We learn so much at each freeride on how to make things run smoother for the next. After the Daytona Freeride last year, we used alot of ideas that Nick had implented for the SFF. So glad he used our raffle ideas at Daytona this year!

Another thing that we did for the raffle to make things faster for everyone is that we took t-shirts, hats, stickers, and smaller giveaways and put them in a bag supplied by one of the sponsors. We drew the names before the big raffle started and posted the names on a big board (made by Chris and Mark) so they could come up and grab the bag that they won..... Saved a lot of time! Also we did indeed start the "writing" of people's names on the back of the tickets but we girls wrote the names and they seemed to be more readable than letting everyone write their own.....

Nick.... I know you didn't raise as much as last year but $7,000 is still some great money to give to the charities..... We raised $4,800 at the SFF - and split it between AWA ($1,800) and Childrens Heathcare of Atlanta ($3,000). They were both thrilled and so appreciative of our donations.

You did an awesome job again this year Nick!:cheer: Thank you!

And I do think that everyone would be willing to throw down 5 bucks for food, seems only fair.

Thank you to Ronny & Ally, Chris, Rhonda, Heidi, and Jason for all the pics and videos.
Thank you to all the sponsors!

I had a damn good time......Looking forward to the next one!:splatt:

I didn't know I had to pay for a raffle in order to come to Daytona, only a monthly pass for the skis. Am I missin something?

Doesn't a freeride mean just that?

THis is a CHARITY freeride. Yes, you should WANT to donate to the fund... I donate 5 months of time and tons of man hrs setting all this stuff up.. You think it's cool to come and not donate a couple bucks to some paople that need it, then whatever bro....

don't act like you didn't know what was going on w/ this ride...

nick I bet trying to get donations all year long from anywhere, work, here, phone calls you would not get half of what this year pulled in. so its a good thing and so much fun for us. I never hear anyone say they won't come back.

maybe up the beach pass amount to get a mandatory minimum. 25 for the sticker and 5.00 or whatever to charity. then you still have the other ways working for ya too. I wouldn't mind paying a cover charge.

Moondance

Just plain me....

haha....I know some girls (not associated with freerides) whose writing is worse than any doctor's I've seen.

And yes, your idea of the grab bags for smaller items was great.

my funds for the ride was limited this year

on a side note last year i spent $200 on the raffle to win something
this year was alot less but for the cause

the raffle this year was great alot better than last year
