Ya know, I've put a radiator in all 3 of my dodges. My 05 was the hardest. Had to pull the intercooler and all the piping. I was crying

I have too which is why I was able to do it so fast. The 1500's are dead simple. Everything is separate unlike the old ones that had the oil and tyranny coolers built into the main unit.

in all fairness, my 05 (cummins) needed a replacement because something flew up from the road and busted it. My 02 (cummins) needed a replacement because of the drain plug, cant buy it seperate. my 96 (cummins) was just old and been through some rough times. the 96 and 02 were a simple unbolt, pull out , and replace. not the 05.... not the 05

I don't remember my 04 being that difficult. I pulled the rad and intercooler out to flush out all the mud packed in by the old owner. I cleaned 480lbs of mud and dirt from various nooks and crannies of the truck. 80lbs came from behind the dually fenders alone.

it wasnt bad, just more than my 02. and it was dark. and cold. a week before daytona...

Yup, I guess it's not a bad thing. There's enough people in the ditch here when it rains normally, I can only imagine how bad it would be if we do actually get freezing rains.

Worst part is, my wife is off today and tomorrow too but I'm 100 miles away stuck in some chitty apartment.

When I was in South Carolina, It snowed. I was actually at the airport about to head home for a weekend, then my flight got canceled. So I hooked up my tow strap and hung it over the tailgate, made $70 on the way back to base. Normally an hour drive, took about 3 but it was worth it!

i have ridden there mid day and after work before. it takes just minute to get there, but its the same at my house now. if i was on the second floor of my office i could see the water from my desk.
