Looks like an old Honda Passport 1982?
It's a 1979 Suzuki FZ50. A friend got it in a package deal with a couple other vintage scooters and didn't want this one so I picked it up for free. Cost me a couple hundred for a carb and throttle cable and some other misc pieces to get it running. It's a blast.

Had a passport too back in the day. Used to say scooters/mopeds were like big girls...."fun to ride till ur friends saw u on them."

There was a Honda in the pile that looked super cool and would have been my first choice but it was so far gone I couldn't go for it. It even had electric start, not that it's needed ol suzy fires up in a kick or two every time.

I just bought a 1981 Passport in pieces with 2k miles on it. Considering it is the most produced motorcycle and has tons of clones based on it, it is extremely difficult to find parts for.

I sold it about 4 months ago for 6 hundo. I had paid 4 for it and it didn't run. I did points, condensor, and plug and got it running. I brought it to the swapmeet for 2 years and was asking 8. Everybody was offering 4. The market here on the east coast is soft on old 50s unless they are mint.
It was really slow and I never rode it and wanted another bike. I bought a BBR primmy with kitaco 124. It's sick fast

People on the westcoast think they are worth gold. I see them on CL all the time for 1500$+ in "okay" condition. Once I get mine registered at the dmv it is getting a 110.

Cube life
Well finally at 9:00 tonight and after buying even more new equipment I'm finally all re wired lights working right for the first time. Drove and hour and a half straight from work to a meeting at the school for tournament on Saturday came home and wrapped this up in the dark. Sucked but it's all good now and maybe I can finally stop stressing so hard about the boat.
Also found out tonight there's another tournament the following Saturday as well
