We had a king cutter deck like that. Seems I worked on it all the time. Sold it and went with a Farris zero turn. Much faster cutting than the mower deck.

Not really my choice. I just get to keep rebuilding it. This is second deck third set of bearings.

My dad is cheap. If he can fix it for 50 bucks and use it several more years that's what happens. It's always the ones with money that never spend it. Lesson learned a long time ago for me.

I also had to go with solid tires on mine. I was ripping the tires off the rims. Cut a lot of grass with it though

I've thought the same thing...and then I remember 3.2 beer.
Yeah, i was like that when i went to arches np in 2011. Things are different now. Id rather save my money, ride more, and recycle less beer. Dont want to carry a bad habit or spare tire around my gut my whole life.

When they say it helps restore trails do they mean by returning bottle caps, glass and cardboard to the earth?

I can't fathom how people drink from glass bottles along lake and river shores which inevitably results in broken glass and trash left behind.

Isn't it like a reverse thing? Sand is heated and made into glass, people drink the beer and discard the bottles and over hundreds of thousands of years it eventually becomes sand again?

Or a glass beach which attracts thousands of people a year to come look at the pretty smooth glass all over the beach. Then they put signs up for people not to take the glass/garbage from the beach.
