I bought mine too. Plan to keep it forever so I went for every option available.

I hammered the GM till he gave me the loaded truck for the price of a regular.
Told him I hadn't had a truck payment in 16 years so he was gonna have to work with me if he was gonna change that.
Took almost two days but he finally caved.

So they have you believe.
The worst part is that it's the 5'7" bed and my ski hauler deck doesn't fit.
The wife says it's too shiny yet so she doesn't want me to build another deck for it in fear of it getting beat up. We have a nice aluminum trailer still so it's hard to argue.
