Poor older gentleman, comes in to get his car serviced, misses the service area so tries to turn around, then does the full gas thing, thinking it's the brakes 2 times into our building and 2 other service cars. He's ok but went by paramedics to the hospital.

A porter was standing in front of his car and was almost hit. The red charger was just dropped of for service and the lady was still here, she was not happy about it.. luckily driver and the fireman where still here so at Least it didn't look we did it to her car... IMG_8495.JPGIMG_8496.JPG

Damn you! Have me looking for FL400's on craigslist now.. What engine are you running on it?

Its just 1.5mm over-bore. Ported (myself) for trail-riding.
Exhaust duration: 177 open at 92
BD: 32
Intake duration: 117 open at 123

High compression head but I relieved squish band to 90-thou (It can actually run a 40-thou though). I had developed a coolant leak at the head gasket and used a different thicker gasket. Figured it saves the bottom end running 165psi instead of 195psi and its really not much slower at all. Carb is a PWK39 (Stock is only a PE34 I believe). Last rebuild split the bottom end. Sent crank to Competitive and had a brand new ProX CR500 rod put in. Brand new Japan bearings all around. Motor is connected to a nice aftermarket pipe.

Theres an issue with my cylinder though. Last re-sleave; LA sleeve put a sleeve inside of a sleeve. Its not the best but its been running about 30+ hours. Next round I'm going to send the Cylinder off to CW racing and likely jump to either 83mm or possibly convert the engine to use a CR500 top-end (89mm). There are also Rotax 670HO conversion kits available as well (~120hp) Will see. She runs so freaking good that could be another 2 years.
Expect to pay between $5000-$8000 for a similar machine.

Here you go:

For all the die heard Honda fans who are still bitter that the OEM never put it’s potent CR500 two-stroke engine in an ATV chassis, your day of jubilee has come. Panthera Motorsports, a Canadian engineering and manufacturing firm, has developed an electric start, 500cc two stroke engine capable of producing 102 horsepower that will bolt directly into a Honda TRX450R chassis. The PM07-18 will set you back $6080 for a version with either electric start or a kick start or an option with both electric and a kickstart can be had for $6400.
Check out a promo video for the engine below as well as a clip of an ATV on the dyno.
Specifications
  • Volume/Bore/Stroke: 548cc / 94mm / 79 mm
  • Power : 102 HP / 76 KW
  • Torque: 72 lb-ft / 98 Nm
  • Weight: 72lb / 32.7 kg
  • Transmission: 6 speeds
  • Exhaust control: Piston power valve
  • Intake system: Carbon fiber reed valve

Are you gonna make any changes to the hull!? And hopefully a re-build thread too!
I’m going to throw in some adjustable footholds and some tom21 tubbies. Debating on whether or not I want to chop the hull, but I really like how it rides. Engine is in good shape, going to put in a RN waterbox and up the tubing size all the way out. It definitely needs new paint, and I’m thinking I’ll try one of the roll and tip topside paints from Epiphanes, Alexseal, or Total Boat. I’ll definitely document it all and make a thread.
