It'll be five months tomorrow for my Dad. It's going to be a tough Christmas. Especially for my mom.

Today is my fathers birthday. I took my kids to the cemetery this morning. We sang Happy Bday and left flowers . We lost him back in August.

Between my brother, sister and I we get Mom out of the house about every other day. You are so right about Christmas. We are changing up a few traditions this year to help Mom (and all of us) to get through the holidays.

Don’t push your luck with that. My brief stint in the air-conditioning industry resulted in a metal fragment in the arm whilst my boss tried to remove a shaft with a drift - chunks of metal going in all directions!
They had to use an X-ray to find out where the fragment ended up relative to the entry wound. Just glad it didn’t go in my eye. Ended up with a spiffy little scar to add to my collection, so that’s a plus!

lts been snowing here again,just nothing big.l think we got about 4-5” last night.l just got done cleaning all the cars off.That was fun at 19°

33 isn't cold. That's a great outdoor temp! Just need sufficient fat layer to keep warm. I'll spare you the photo of that

I got the fat layer handled!. I can handle the cold. But we got there around 9am and she ended up not riding until 5pm. It was all day in it...33 isn't cold. That's a great outdoor temp! Just need sufficient fat layer to keep warm. I'll spare you the photo of that

It’s very hard to stay warm just sitting around.
The roar from some of those heaters is very unnatural and unsettling as well. I like the radiant mesh or tube style that barely give off a hiss of the gas flowing to the element.
I was scrounging for ours last night so we could sit out on our patio this morning but never did find it. I’m suspecting I may have tossed it during our last move.
I don’t get cold enough, often enough to justify them but I keep seeing deals on the Milwaukee heated jackets and figure it would be nice to have at some point.
