Quick weekend getaway the Lake Placid NY. Went to the top of Whiteface Mountain. Then to "Jumpapalooza" at the Olympic jump training center. It was amazing to see the ski jumping in person. TV doesn't do any justice to this sport.

Gonna retire my old Husqvarna 450 Rancher today after a solid 26 year run. She actually still runs perfect but it needed a whole bunch of small discontinued parts and I was able to pick up a factory reconditioned 2020 model 455 for $310 shipped.

I paid $100 for a box filled with two of the 1988 model Ranchers back in 96 and made one good saw out of all the parts. It did 3-5 cord of wood a season for a 10 yr stretch and has sat in the attic since I moved to the states in 08. I bring it out a few times a year and she’s always fired right up.

I’d say she will be missed but the new saw starts and runs so good, it would be a flat out lie. It even shuts off when you hit the kill switch and you don’t have to choke it out every time, lol.

These two morons came in cause she put Nair on her crotch( which the bottle tells you not to do) and it burned her. But I guess while she was hairless he decided to get him some and he got burned too. Some people earn injuries and some just deserve them.
