Its no fun to have a bathroom that still wreaks after you clean it. I asked the landlord to fix this or help/watch me do it....smelled like sewer gas, but he says he couldn't smell it. More you flush worse it smelled.
Resealed the toilet at the downtown apt. Floor was rotten, the toilet rocked, created a leaky wax ring situation. Drilled a ss plate to the floor and shimmed with plastic wedges. No telling how long it was leaking; glad I don't own this place.

Well Im glad to see you both got what you wanted ... that lazy Fug landlord got somebody else to do it for free , and you got a sanitary bathroom , winwin , some of those Fugin landlords make my stomach turn with their CHEAPNESS . As long as it doesn't affect them and they can lie through their teeth and ignore the issue its all good .

It goes both ways. I have been on both sides of it. My father is a landlord and we've had the same tenant for 12 yrs at one place pretty much paid it off for us. another property we had to legally evict, replace all carpets, and two huge dumpsters of crap that couldn't go to goodwill.
I will bite my tongue for this landlord, its a nice downtown apt for less than half price. Nothing better than working on the road then coming home, park, and being able to walk to everything.

Drove 3 hours one way to spear fish the nearest lake that allows spearing for gamefish. Its too bad we didnt get any for the dinner table. Nailed one carp though. Great day out!
