SO FAR CHANGE SUCKS!!!!!!
yep id redo that hull and throw a trim in that biotch
Im a MN freerider who is looking to upgrade from my stock SJ hull. I need a surf durable hull that can rec. ride. Right now my price range is looking at the BOB and a WCF hull. Any info is helpful thanks.
You gotta pay to play.
A pro-built modded motor is plenty reliable. Home-built, not so much.
I hate to say it, but you can't really expect to flip off single wakes (or even doubles) with a waterlogged hull, a near stock motor, and no trim. You need to buck up for a better motor or a lighter hull. Neither is cheap. You'll have to decide what it's worth to you.
You could start by defoaming your stock hull, cutting it a couple inches shorter, getting trim, and maybe getting your motor ported.
I ride with the OP and am in the same situation. I was leaning towards a superjet based after market hull., but it sounds like it may not be worth the minimal weight savings. Now I'm leaning towards re foaming and cutting. I have a ported 701 with a Bpipe now. What would be the next step motor wise if you had 2 -3k to spend?
I'd get Jetworks to build me a big bore from what you have.
That's what I have and I couldn't be happier.
2-3k will buy you a nice motor upgrade. It will not buy you a nice hull.

not to mention they guzzle the gas more then me too.
its prob just the paint or gel coat cracking. if its heavily reinforced you wont have stress cracks. backflips on double ups are impossible without trim unless you have big $$ motors. i did um on b piped motor stock hull, just trim without any problems
