Other Which rules Flatwater or Surf riding ?

Flatwater VS Surf.
Which one gets more respect for skill ?
Which one is more fun if you own one ski for each ?
Which one causes more injuries ?

If you want to have fun doing flatwater, shell out $25-30k. Surf, shell out $5k. I know what's more fun in my wallet.

I have both, but haven't ridden surf enough yet. Irode once and it wasn't even my ski lol, I just got my surf ski ready, I'll report back after Daytona lol

I like surf better but that could be because when I go it is a big awesome trip. I love riding flat water but I'm always working and practicing tricks that I want to do in surf.

I ride flat most the time but I like the surf because its ever changing. Every single wave is different so it stays interesting. Flat is well flat.

I've never ridden surf, but I can say that whenever I watch a surf riding vid I'm like "HOLY HELL! That dude just got 20 feet of air!" I don't have the balls to hack it in the surf so I'll stick to my safe little mud puddles.

Flatwater is very nice for ballerinas and the fellas far from the ocean, surf is for men
Surf is the ultimate fun in this sport, period!

i would have sold my ski if i had not discovered the possibilities of riding a superjet in the surf. my stockish sj is boring as on flat water but in surf its a whole new sport. sorry but i dont consider flat water to be in the same category as surf riding.
