supplements aside......
right now i am thinking 62t cases(ported) 61x jugs (resleeved?) bored to 86mm. ported myself lightweight flywheel, big carbs drypipe etc
For all the haters..........fine. Mine rips and does flatwater rolls with ease. (just not with me on it.)
Even with BB sleeves, I wouldn't go to 86. You'd have only a bore or two left, and your head/dome options are limited.
with 84 mm, i would have to use any 701 head with 760 domes, correct? im not worried about not having any bores after 86, but if i needed domes i would need 760 domes (for 86) then have them machined? thanks
I would probably start by selling that dry pipe and going to a B-pipe then worry about the cylinder. In my opinion my bottom end ported 61x hit alot harder than the mildly ported 760 cylinder.
Yes. Without any overbores left.
What you gain by going from 84.5 or 85.0 to 86.0 is negligible. I wouldn't give up the ability to bore up for a few cc's.
the cylinder isnt gonna make up the power difference he will lose by going to a b-pipe
