Does anyone want to see more pictures of the dyno? I knew it would get the naysayers all riled up. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Brian
It actually just discredits you and the company you work for by showing you have the data but are not prepared to show it to your customers.
This can only make me and clearly most of the other people on here that you dont have confidence to stand behind your product over some one elses.
Most people that make market engine packages in other forms of motorsport quote the torque and the hp figures you can expect from there product

It does neither, ours and my products stand on their own without any hype.

Need we say more about dyno numbers..... In this pic I've already rotated once!

Numbers don't sell motor.... People watching and trying and seeing all the videos posted by just the average joe get people to buy these motors ... I know this for a FACT!

Great skills there
Numbers do sell engines, have a look around at all the car advertising you see on tv. they are always talking more power. watch top gear the hp is the first quoted figure. Im sure they have very smart marketing people working for these firms
The facts are there has been so many big numbers quoted before that it would be embaressing to actually see the real figures.
Sure people see videos and say thats a great move and if I had a certain engine I could do that. But how do they know that for there money that its the best buy. another engine could make the same power for 1500 less. how do they know that.

No doubt these engines are powerful no one has said anything against that. But when we buy hulls they are quoted in weight so we know what we are buying. However engines are only quoted in cc. CC doesnt mean hp so for people to make an informed decision should it not be avaliable.

The reality is that even though they have the figures it would hurt sales to post figures so no one is going to do it

I will post them

Briaan
Try and get the ones from the 5mm cylinders you sell with 8mm port timing in them.
you can lift ports up. kinda hard to port them down

Cars and other motor sports yes I agree numbers sell.... I have never seen Dasa, jetworks, XS ever claim a HP number... Only eme, and LPW I maybe wrong....

The facts are I don't think we will ever see numbers posted by these builders...

For now pick the company that you like, ride and push the sport to the next level, more riding and less typing...

Yo b I havnt owned one of your motors YET! But the ones I rode I loved them man! Keep putting out them nice motors and say f the haterz!

Thanks Wilkey.

Tireless pursuit it is. I was at the shop running my machine and wiring up DASA's newest VF2, getting ready to carve up some more billet.

Wait to see what DASA will have cooking soon. Maybe even bringing the project to Daytona if we have enough time to finish and test.

I am at a point in my life where it is time to spend money on my Lamey 7 port cylinders to re-sleeve, new pistons, and rebuild crank or go to a different setup. I am speaking straight out my azz now-I fear that if I ditch the Lamey setup that I will learn the hard way that there really was something to the 7 port setup. lol I will be the first to admit that I was really pissed when I verified Dan Lamey himself fed me a line of poop about the exhaust ports on my Lamey cylinders being out of alignment, but what can I do. I had Art weld up the dam ports and start over and dam what a difference after I got rid of Dan's "anti-reversion exhaust port BS". As far as DASA goes, Brian beat up Kyle on my be-half trying to help me and Kyle tried to beat up Dan and thats where the help stopped. IMO as long as you can get the job done with Brian and/or Kyle, you are good to go. I assume Dan is too wrapped up in modern day 4stroke tech now to mess with watercraft stuff anymore and thats where Brian and Kyle come in to play. I talked to Kyle the other day getting prices for raw unported parts from him and he actually remembered me and my cast cylinders which made me feel good because I would imagine he talks to alot of people. My only gripe with Brian is the fact that he voted for Obama!!!

I will correct anyone who writes stupid comments in a thread I am active in. I have also commented alot of times on how good you cad work is.If you look for the negative you will find it however Just because you can draw a part on cad does not make you an engine tuner. It clearly doesnt make you a marketing guy either.
