:Banane35: My friend and i just picked up 2 rn sjs in pretty bad shape. Hulls are solid but motors are locked up. They both need a complete rebuild.
We are both on a budget, but we have all winter to do this..
uke:I already have a good idea about what needs to be done to reinforce the hull, shorten stock pole, and we have the means to fix all cosmetic issues.
:starwars: Basicly I'm not sure what direction to go in with the motors. I would love some insight. Any info you can give me on the dos and donts. This will be a first for both of us, we grew up on kawis, so we're not very familiar with the Superjets. (and i know, i Know. Ive heard it all, all my life. you superjet guys love to preach. Well this deal was too good to pass up, so i finaly get to see what every one has been sayng)
:brap: <---<< Basicly we both want the same thing. We ride in land lakes 90% with the occasional great lake visit (no where near salt). Responsive low-end power and reliability are a must. flatwater freestyle/ freeride. i have looked into a few options and builder. I have read nothing but good things about Art Gomez, but i have also been looking into Group K big bore. Has any one had dealing with either? or does any one have any suggestions?
