With out the X I could not be where I am today. Yes-I actually agree w/u, there are some squirrells on here, but, for the most part it is truly what it was made to be-FOR THE RIDERS BY THE RIDERS.

1st off.. you came over PWCT starting sniveling and ********.. saying stuff thats not true !! Yes I will stand up for myself when people TELL me why I do things ! YOU WERE WRONG !

Here is just a small list off the 1st page of the feedback section on companies that you couldn't see.. Not everyone reads the whole thread and weighs the good from the bad.. IT's IN THE NEGATIVE SIDE !

What I'm saying is.. Just think if one day all these companies were in a pissy mood contacted each other and said.. You know we don't make any money in this sport, we should just stick where the money is.. We don't need the headaches of this and they left, tired of seeing thier name/company they built from the ground up, for the RIDERS, pulled through the dirt because of one guy.

Yes this site has ALOT of good things about it and info and I have been here since it started.. I KNOW I'm not the only one that thinks this way but I might be the only one with balls to say it on here !! You guys need to think of what can happen because of what you type !!!
I have watched over the years and thought what I would say if I was a moderator many times and there is no answer.. Only one thing comes to mind..

Totally agree! I have met alot of riders because of this site. Hell I drove over 3000miles last year to go to rides and spent 10days in daytona because of this site....LOL If I never came here I'd be putting around on a stock 650 X2, bringing it to dealers for $125/hr for a coupler popping off...LOL.

• moderated negative feedback - we assume everything should be posted, only if there is something personal or not factual or whatever do we not approve it
• free-for-all negative feedback - things get way out of hand very quickly

The way I see it, if we only allow the positive stuff, then people won't be able to research and find out who the scumbags/scammers are.

Our current setup appears to work better than the old system of no control.

I just don't agree with the moderated thing since the people moderating it have no idea what really happened ,the only ones that know are the 2 people involved .

Exactly why I said we assume it should be posted unless there is something that's blaringly obvious.

We're always the bad guys, no matter what we do. Some people say we shouldn't have it at all, others say it shouldn't be moderated, this is in the middle.

What do you suggest then? We're always open to suggestions, that's why we have a group of like 15 people helping us on decisions.

I certainly would never think I could come up with the answers .I do think if someone posted something that wasnt factual than the other members would call them out in the end and the original poster would look worse than the person he was posting negative feedback on .

After the many reports of slow or no shipping on your part, I'm amazed that you would claim that. Not doing it to make money? Then why are you selling stuff? I really don't care, but come on! That is crap.


Without negative feedback all these companies that are in business as a favor to the sport (surely not to make money) could screw people around all they wanted without anyone ever finding out. It keeps them on their toes to maintain good customer service. The negative feedback forum has to be moderated to keep the outrageous opinions out of it and make sure it is just supposedly factual statements. If someone is lying to make a company or person look bad it should come out sooner or later when the story doesn't add up or the other side of the story is told. I think the forum is a good thing. And.....

I LOVE THE X! Up yours if you don't, and don't post here anymore if the site offends you so.

Darin is right. This is the best way to do it. The negative feedbacks have gone down ALOT and nobody is name-calling or threatening each other. The negative feedbacks also don't have 100 pages of people bashing each other trying to get the last word in that don't even know either party. The positive Change has been dramatic!

I have made 2 Movies.
I have seen 8 Jetski Movies.
I have seen 100's of short videos!
I have bought 30 or 40 parts for my ski.
I have learned about new parts & Companies for my ski.
I have saved $100's of dollars on repairs from the advice on here.
I have been on the water probably an extra 100 times, instead of wrenching all the time.

...and most important, I have made at least 100 friends around the country that I can ride with and probably have a place to crash.

...and guess what, I don't have anything against ANY Jetski Company. If that isn't positive, I don't know what is.

Basically, calling someone a douchebag is an 'opinion'.

Saying, "my 5 day old handlepole broke in 1/2 and the company has not called me back in 15 days" is a 'fact'.

I think that is what Darin is talking about.
I haven't heard ANYONE complain about not being able to post a negative feedback. Just word it right, and be respectful.
