On one of the Japanese sites they weighed the new x2 hull. Looks like a bare x2 hull weighs about 75kg which = about 165lbs.

Blasters must suck up a lot of water somewhere in the hull as stock blaster is definitely heavier than a stock X2.
Something worth noting X2 topdeck is 6-10mm thick, strong. It has taken some hard hits on the sides when not concentrating on my barrels, worst that happened, one of the hood latches poped open. Every blaster I know(reinforced or not) break the edges of the hood that goes against the seal and twists the latch.

Yeah, my SX-R was VERY strong. One day a wave tossed me completely vertical & I landed on the ride plate so hard they heard it on the beach.:scared: Only damage was a bent rideplate!:Banane01: :Banane01: :Banane01:

Awesome Rolls. That ski looks like a freakin' BLAST to ride.

Not sure why that is. My Blaster has been taking some pretty gnarly impacts on the side when I've been lazy with rolls. It's got mild reinforcing on top deck/bondline, but no signs of a twisted hood latch just yet.

I'm in trouble, starting to over-rotate, going 1-1/4 without trying.
I better learn to stop the rotation or bend my knees so I can go for a double:Banane01:
