Lol, I put 5 Gallons of oil through it. How many hours does that work out to be?

Wouldn't clean pistons like that indicate it being too rich? or piston wash doesn't matter. I pulled my head and had some carbon build up using the same oil but mixed at 40:1.

I have been seeing more and more cylinders like this lately and all are running really high ratio of oils so I believe it's the oil.

Pistons will stay very clean when they stay cool and there is plenty of oil. Freestyle engines usually have clean pistons, dark plugs, and oily sludge in the exhaust. Run the same engine in a couch and you will see more of the opposite because of being full throttle all of the time.
