missed having you here pete and shawn,
you guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in the mean time you should take the top mold to pancakers house and do the first layup as a prep for the final product.
Dude thanks so much for the offer! Unfortunatly I would have to take a week off work and sleep there every night to make that work with the drive time. (might take you up on the offer over the winter...LOL!)
If this weekend wasnt a total washout with rain up here, I was going to start wetsanding the mold. On second thought the rain might have helped. Pete's Brap Cave has WAYYYY more then enough building going on right now...LOL. Its not that big of a deal if I have to pick back up after wave daze in oct. Riding season is just starting to take off WOT, and being my bro is away at med school, I can rip on his 800 X2 as much as I want.
my garage will be open by next week shawn. so i will tweek your trailer then we can work on x2.:bigok:
The question thats eating me up is do I start tooling a SJ......SJ's are much easier to make.
You two are traitors! lol
As for an SJ mold... there are already a bunch of those out there.
Now if you wanted to put an old X2 top on an SJ bottom but with an SXR pump section, I might go for that. Just got to make things complicated since you have these bad ideas floating around in your head.
