You can specify the material you want to use, This is why we use 6061 aluminum which is an international standard. We could use cheaper alloy and save money but then the quality would be down.
For sure, I am just talking about a replacement part that is a knock off for another OEM or something. Not a part you have contracted out to a manufacturer.
