Yeah a dual carb 760 in that Jetmate would be sweet.

i have a dual carb 750 in one of them now. id yamify all of my kawis if it were as simple as a bedplate swap. glassing in new plates and/or making conversion brackets just isnt appealing to me.

hey wedo.... i thought you didnt care much for yamis

I have nothing against Yamahas, actually I work on a ton of them and I own a several of them.My next Jet boat conversion project is probably going to be Yami powered .They do make certain models I don't care for but then so does Kawi and Seadoo. I am doing this more for the progression of the sport than anything else. This sport has been my passion for over twenty years now and it puts a paycheck in my pocket every week, plus I get to ride pretty much whenever I want, this is my way of giving something back, pimping the sport X2 STYLE.Besides if all you guys put Yami engines in that means the price of the Kawi parts should go down right?:sneaky:

the problem you will have which is what I encountered is that for a few dollars I can buy a running 750 kawi, and while it would be nice to have all yami motors for all the reasons they are desired it was simple economics. running 750 bolts right in now using all the 650 externals or buy yami motor and all related parts, electronics, exhaust, intake, and bedplate kit spend twice as much.

or you could pimp your motor with half as much and have the shizz.

the only way this makes sense is if you don't already have an x-2 or have one minus a motor since you would be buying everything anyway.

For Sale- Carbon Kevlar kawi to Yami convesion plate with unobtanium coupler - 1 million dollars.:joke:

Voting no wouldn't effect the yes vote count. If anything, it'd benefit you to have no votes so you can determine approx what pecentage of the viewing population is interested in your product.

It's not about a percentage, it's about making it worth building them at all.

This is pretty much where I stand. If I was rich I would have an ADA billet engine in my X2 but you know how thinsg are for the working folk...

We have a poll now so clutter away, btw someone asked what kind of shop I have so I will give you some background.I started in the motorcycle business after graduating fron AMI IN 1982.I worked at the honda-yami dealer for 6 years, the kawi-suz-polaris dealer for 4 years, the seadoo dealer for 3 years then the kawi dealer for a year, the ski nautique dealer for 2 years doing frp and gelcoat as well as atvs and pwc's,then the kawi dealer ,a high end cabinet shop till I got tired of smelling sawdust and contact cement fumes all day ,and then the seadoo dealer till it closed down. When it closed in Aug of 1999 I went into business for myself repairing pwc's and atv's.I do everything from complete rebuilds to frp and gelcoat repair and upholstery repairs all in house and top quality.I have certs from Seadoo,Kawi,Honda,Yamaha,Polaris ,Mastercraft ,Cobalt and Thunderjet.
