I'll be doing the low budjet version, either a mod for a Kawi plate, or just start from scratch from steel. Sorry, just not really into the Bling thing, just functional and practical for me.

Theres an old saying that goes(IF YOU CAN'T BUY MODIFY) thats great for those guys with a shop full of equipment and the skills to use it,you know me I am a modifying fool, but I also realize that not everyone has the time ,tools or skills to do a conversion like this,or they might just want to go with a setup they know they can bolt in and go,this bedplate is for those guys.

I think it's great idea. More motor options are good. I like the idea of still using the kawi driveline.
Is the x2 bed plate the same as 650sx? I believe all kawi 650/750/800 stand up's all use the same bed plate.

Wedo just sent me a coupler, I will do what I can as time allows. Been a tough week, daughters car is broke, and running nonstop from 4am-10pm.

I've decided to go 62T 760 in my other X2 so I need one. Has anybody mocked one up yet? I plan on using an ADA Yamaha / Kawasaki coupler and using the Kawasaki driveline.

Here's where I'm at, this is with wetjet style engine mounts. I'm making a flat plate that will have angled pieces to pick up the motor mounts, the flat will just bolt down to the existing inserts. Centerline of cylinders is about 3/4 inch more fwd. due to the depth of the yamaha coupler.
