Why not run the Kavinci pole? I have 2 here and so far they seems super strong and look sharp, might as well stay with Krash products if you can.

so about that donor ski, dad just called me and said its actually a kawi super sport xi so thats a no go, but he says he has a possibly 95 or 96 waveventure at the shop thats been sitting for a few years that i might be able to use? just dont know anything about them so i have no clue if i could
Yes, lots of parts will work from the waveventure especially if it is a 701. Also Blue might be interested in the kawi xi for his wife. @Blue

the xi, needs some fiber glass work to the side of it from a accident about a year ago when my brother basically cut my dad off on it while my dad was on the 650sx on a blind corner

Well your pump would be fine. And mid shaft talk to @JetManiac and get the rebuild kits or have him do it. The rest who cares haha motor mounts and that don't go bad. You should be golden

well you do have a point there and its not like the 701 couldnt be cleaned up and sold as a shor tblock either

all the internals are good on the xi cause we got the ski to shore before it sunk so i might part it out to fund this build some but yeah i also agree the hull is trashed unless your really good with fiber glass
as far as the used pole, he ended up sticking that pole on a different ski so im buying it without a pole
