Well I moved my cousins to NC a few years back.. The drive between you and here on I-90 sucks with all the rolling hills.. Just take your time and don't push the truck.. I would rent a uhaul trailer big enough to get a ski and all of your stuff in, then put another on the trailer on your bed...

Could be a great idea! We were discussing this after Tanner Thomas' ski sunk at Surf Slam this year.. Only issue is how to make it trigger at the correct time and properly..
Find a set of worn out rear quad tires on aluminum wheels.. You can sometimes pick up a set for $40-50.. You just have to build a hub to attach to the axle.. Pretty easy to do.. Or find a set of riding lawn mower rear tires & wheels, they work too..
Check Craigslist for those things..
