I have a 701 bored to a 760 ported with dual cooling lines with a regular blaster pump. I was riding out in the lake and everything was fine then all of a sudden the water stopped coming out of the pissers. I brought it back to the dock right away. I took the two lines off of the head and...
Hey pete it is me Bryan we met in florida. I was the bigger guy from jersey. Anyway I had mark build me an x2 that was supposed to be ready back in july. well to make a long story short i just got it this weekend and it is nothing but a problem so far. I dont think he has your hull and who...
Just want to say thanks for all the people who helped some of us jersey guys when our skis were not there. I had a ton of fun and met a lot of great people can not wait for the next event.
PS:Dont worry Shonuff I am always around when a pretty lady is in need
I have one in mine and I had to notch out the side as well for the head pipe and then I had to modify my tank to get the head pipe in. I know a lot of people go with the factory b pipe from a superjet they say it works well and is an easy fit but I have never tried one.
I have been wave jumping x-2s for around 4 years, If you are just jumping you will not have and problems other then motor mounts and maybe little things coming loose. I started cracking hulls when I started doing nose stabs and trying to learn barrelrolls. Most of the hulls I cracked I...
I have a similar foothold but i made mine out of fiberglass and I made mine go straight across the foot tray. As for mounting them I just rivited them in. I have not yet tried them cause I am doing some finishing touches to the motor. I should have the first ride this weekend so we will see...
yeah with the picture above it looks like they made it a right hand outlet instead of the normal left hand. I think I am going to put the factory pipe on this one and when I build my next 750 x2 over this winter I will go with the factory b pipe
Sorry about that other post. I meant that when I get my camera back I will post some pics so you can see what I mean. But I can not fit the manifold in there no how. By using a manifold will that take power away from the boat? And I tried to melt my tank and it worked out for the most part...
I am waiting on my camera to get fixed so I can post some pics. but I can not get the manifold in thee at all. I dont know if you can use the manifold from the 650 pipe or not. Right now I am using the 750 manifold
I have to say I did not have too much trouble with the exhaust and I did not have to make it a right hand rear. I had a lot of trouble with the manifold. I have to cut and trim the hull just to get it in.
Has anybody ever seen a 750 factory pipe on an x2 with a 750 motor? If anybody has seen it how does it work? Am I better off using that or a factory B pipe from the sj?
I am not really looking to get rid of the westcost head I was just wondering if another company made one that was a little better, cause I know westcost is just more of an average company instead of high end.
I have a westcost head on my 96 ski big pin. Should I leave that or change it? If so to what? And also where can I get a lighten flywheel and what should I look for?
I I have a 96 big pin in my 92 X2. I just bought a new porp, v force reeds and an msd enhancer. The only other things that I am thinking about is a new exhaust and possibly a new head. I have a westcost head and exhaust on ther now. Any suggestions? Is the new head a good idea? What pipe...
