These hulls were made to do that stuff. I told everyone who wanted to ride my ski to try and flip it...but they had to wear my helmet. Otherwise they keep on thinking that backflips look so easy. They go out and try and it changes their perspective.
It's nice to hear the different manufacturers...
The razor MAXX has been flawless for me, until the forced update to 'ice cream sandwich' or whatever it was. Battery life dropped at least 25%. Its still pretty good, but it was AMAZING.
If you think the Superjet is tough to get up on, you are gonna be in for a surprise with a short backflip hull.
Definitely get out and ride as many hulls as possible before dropping a big chunk of money.
My ski was killed with the tether, died like it should, but then nothing. No click or anything. Long story short, after hours and hours of trouble shooting, it ended up being the battery died. The battery totally took a poop instantly.
So check that before you start tearing it apart.
Definitely just jump right in and get the 701 if you can afford it. The second, and more expensive 701 looks a little cleaner. I'd probably pick that one up. But it might be worth looking at both, or at least talk to both guys. Sometimes you can tell a lot just from talking to the individual on...
Not to mention the 750sxi is going to guzzle gas at almost twice the rate of that 650 sj.
I vote you save your pennies and buy a nice 96+ Superjet with a 701 already in it. Maybe get lucky and find one with some goodies on it.
They used to make a 'gnar' bar for the shred ready. Steal bar that was vertical right in the middle of the opening. It just bolted on. I emailed them and they are not making them anymore. I thought about making my own.If you google it you'll find pictures
Here's some pictures of the red one. Next to my old beat up snowmobile/dirtbike HJC helmet for comparison. I couldn't find any pictures of the inside of the shred ready when I was looking at them online, so I took a couple. I feel that its kinda a narrow helmet, or I have a wide head. I had to...
I have the red shred ready and really like it. It's not the absolute most comfy i've ever worn but it's small and super light, and as op stated, holds no water. Plus the red is a sweet metallic haha. I'll throw some pictures up
The wdk big dawg steering is a really nice piece, and I picked up some 3" riser bars that were 710mm wide. Trim lever fit on no problem. I went with the wdk because I knew I could buy spacers to run the rrp bars if I didn't like the mountain bike bars...but I couldn't do vise versa. I have...
Spray a little round up in an area where the grass is in/over the water. See what happens. When the water was low you should have been spraying like a mad man!
That situation really sucks dude.
You could ask around and see if anyone has one has a little boat with one of those mud bogging...
