i am getting ready to graft a sj bottom(rear section) on to my fx1 and started thinking about useing a sj driveshaft and setting the pump back like the new o8 sj, you guys think this would be beneficial , i will be posting pics of all the work as i get underway:headbang:

i did get a pipe on 12/4 but it was not my pipe and he sold this pipe for 200 less then what i paid, i contacted the suppose to be owner of the pipe i got and told him. He said he got a pump from this david(wetjet701)

Wetjet 701 sold me a b-pipe for my fx1 and never sent it . I tried to pm ,asking if anyone has seen him,emailing him with no luck. I filed a claim with paypal but did not get a dime as he cleared the account. The transaction took place on 11-7. I talked to a friend of his but he was not willing...
I thought someone had done this earlier where they cut the bottom out of a superjet (intake to back of pump mount)and glassed it in to a fx1 or am I wrong. I was just thinking you would not need anything special if you had a extra pump or hull laying around and everything would be off the shelf...
I was going to take it to a machine shop as well as the old prop , i do not want to spend the money on the tap and die as it would kill me.I thought if I could find the size I needed I could call around first, the alternative on the driveshaft would be to grind the first 5-6 threads off
