Mine is doing the same thing showing way retarded timing with the plate all the way advanced. How did you keep the bendix in with the motor running and still able to see the flywheel?

If you get a bob defiantly get the 2 or 3 you will sacrifice a lot on build quality, but they are fun. Mine has been ridden in the surf and it's very apparent they take some getting use to in chop it's very doable though I flipped mine off of boat wakes with a 701 and in the ocean flat water...
