Cut WDK RIP hood to fit stock 62T airbox?

Ok thanks! I will see what I can find out and do some more research. For now i may find another option in the interim. Thank you! That sounds like a good alternative. That looks awesome! I would be willing to try that out. Do you want to PM me with your details?

Cut WDK RIP hood to fit stock 62T airbox?

Currently it’s only getting it from the hand pole’s dual holes. It was only running a 61x. Just built a 62t/61x ported cylinder setup from jet maniac. Dual factory carbs, WDK pipe, Zeel, girdled head with 37cc domes to keep pump gas. Do you think I’ll need to modify the hood for more air then...

Cut WDK RIP hood to fit stock 62T airbox?

There are no breather tubes on this hood. It’s sealed completely except for two spots in the front where it seems to just have not been glued down all the way. There isn’t a way for air to get to the motor through this hood in its current form. If I cut it then it would have a small path but...

Cut WDK RIP hood to fit stock 62T airbox?

Hey guys. I’m almost ready to put in my newly built motor but I was wondering if anyone had experience with the WDK and cutting the hood to fit the factory 62T air box? It only needs a little bit cut but I wasn’t sure if that would severely affect the integrity of the hood or not? It seems very...

Wiring question- Zeel install on 62T from Wave Raider

Ok that makes sense. I'll cap/tape off the multiple power sources already there from the factory and just utilize a separate one for the zeel. Thank you for your help!

Wiring question- Zeel install on 62T from Wave Raider

I have a zeel im putting in and had some creative thoughts but wanted to check and see if anyone had some glaring issues or experience to steer me away from what I was thinking. The picture shows a couple wires I had questions about. 1. The red wire (yellow circle) from the rectifier I assume...

Stay with complete 62T or switch to 62T case and 61X cylinders

I think I will just stick with the 62T complete for now until I build something for the AM hull. Thanks for everyone's comments. I'm definitely going to come back to these when I'm ready to build the second motor.

Stay with complete 62T or switch to 62T case and 61X cylinders

That video explains a lot. Thanks for the heads up about port matching it. I will definitely get that done before I put that manifold on.

Stay with complete 62T or switch to 62T case and 61X cylinders

Ok I'll look into that. Thanks! My plan for the pump is to get a solas Mag and bore out the cone like what others have done. I have a 9/15 prop going in it for now and it has a scoped intake grate. Anything else I should look for when trying to get the correct pump load? I was wanting to stay...

Stay with complete 62T or switch to 62T case and 61X cylinders

Thank you. I haven't installed the water box yet. Still is being delivered actually. What would be the better one to use or will drilling the holes fix the issue enough? Also, I hear a lot about your parts on here but never had a chance to order anything yet. I am going to get with you on what...

Stay with complete 62T or switch to 62T case and 61X cylinders

I am in the middle of acquiring parts for my square nose build. After I finish this SN build, I want to ride it and get more comfortable with tricks, then buy an aftermarket hull to practice tricks that would otherwise risk the SN hull. I have 2 things I'm debating on right now. 1. Build this...

Sold: 1995 Yamaha Wave Raider Part-out: No motor or electronics box

Located in Belleville, Michigan I can ship on your dime though. I do have the title for it if that also interests you with the hull. Anything on the ski is for sale but the below items I chose to start with as I don't want to take absolutely everything off of it unless there is interest...

1990 Square nose superjet build for freestyle

More updates for today! Last night I spent a couple hours to take everything out of the hull. Small progress but it felt good to see it empty. Next step is to prep the surfaces for reinforcement and get the turf off the tray. They used a lot of glue when this turf went on so I think it will be...

1990 Square nose superjet build for freestyle

A little update! I built my stand last night so I could have a solid platform to work on it. I used the free layout from RSKI. It was pretty good and easy to build. There were a couple things I changed though. Home Depot sold a 2'X4' section of plywood already cut so I used that instead of the...

Its a downhill mountain bike helmet. I heard a lot of people use them for freestyle over MX helmets because of weight. Just wanted to see some opinions about them is all.
