Maybe I should have clarified. I know what they do but having a hard time wanting to change anything after coming from a highly modded 750 sxi. Realize how much of a pos it was now that I have a Superjet. Is my intake grate stock? How much better will it get?

Will also note. I came from a highly modded 750 SXI and ride my friends 800sxr all the time with prowatercraft tubbies. Glad I did not get the 800. We lake ride in AZ only.
All I got to say is wow and props to the Gen II, 2008+ superjets. Finally made the plunge and bought one. Low end and mid range power, light weight, and grips the water like crazy. If I had to... the only con in comparison to the 800 is the smaller tray size and lack of top end power. But...
