    XFS Cavitation Big Time!

I'm getting help from some good guys who will look at it this week. I may replace the stock pump with a skat 148 since it will be out and I have to invest $30.00 in a seal anyways... lol

    XFS Cavitation Big Time!

I was hoping it was something stupid like that but unfortunately not... Pump shoe is nice and well sealed all around but it looks like there is a small gap between the seal and shoe about two inches long and the seal looks folded in at one small point from the outside. Will change the seal and...

    XFS Cavitation Big Time!

I tried my new (used) ski for the first time and it cavitates like crazy. When I came back in I only had 2 bolts left on the intake grate and it was loose. I changed the grate to a RRP to see if it makes a difference but not really and I'm also waiting for a new pump seal. So here's the...

    Dual Fuel Tanks

Got some info from Taylor Curtis who was really nice to help me out and I wanted to share in case this could also be helpful for others. This is how I will be setting it up but if you have 2 carbs, you also need 2 pick ups from front tank to back tank.

    Dual Fuel Tanks

Will need to mull this over a little longer I guess. I have a few weeks until the ice melts... Superjet is 6.25 gallons: 4.8 + 1.45 reserve

    Dual Fuel Tanks

I don't want to reinvent the wheel or try something that may not be 100% and I'm starting to think the most practical would be to have a switch on the dash. Question is do I also need one for returns. If the two tanks can be connected in such a way that I didn't a switch at all that would be...

    Dual Fuel Tanks

Not sure this makes sense in my little brain... Would the pressure really transfer all the fuel? And I don't see why you would need a fuel switch or dual pick ups if they go to the same tank. Perhaps your diagram is correct but the RESERVE pick up would need to go into the SJ tank Vent. If...

    Dual Fuel Tanks

Thanks! I don't know I've only had it for a week and keep it under plastic wrap till the season starts... I agree about the switch as a reserve/safety but I'm not crazy about having to open the hood out in the middle of the lake if it cuts or even worse in the ocean...

One more question - how would the returns be set up?

The Jaz + RRP as reserve seems is perfect. I'm not sure how to do the routing though...

    Dual Fuel Tanks

I just bought a XFS with a 785 big bore with single 46mm carb and RRP 1.5 gallon rear fuel tank. I don't want to limit my rides to around 30 minutes so I'd like to add a 3 gallon kart tank or stock SJ tank. I haven't found any detailed posts and am wondering how to do the set up and what I need...
