    Footrocket Factory Dry Pipe

If anyone is curious, it will fit. These pics are just mock up and it's a very tight squeeze, once everything is bolted in tight it might need a tiny bit of alteration but yeah definitely could make it work fairly easily

    Surfriding Krash Reaper Input

It seems every now and then a dud krash hull will escape the qc process, which is a shame because I've seen a lot of beautifully finished krash hulls. Also seen them bashed to hell and still in good nick. Also just to correct a statement that was made earlier, the reaper isn't based off the...

    Footrocket Factory Dry Pipe

I think the width should be ok, measured the width of the sj bay that's been modified to fit the pipe and the width of the footrocket and it's very close. It's just the height I'm concerned about... Nothing that taking a hammer to the chamber can't fix eh ;)

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

Im thinking I might put in the 44cc domes, which will take it to 215-220 psi. @2HIGH4U says that hes been running bp ultimate 98 oct with 210 compression for years. If i mix in some toulene for a tiny bit more octane I should be on the money. Does this sound right or am I completely off the...

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

Yeah premium says either 95 or 98, but Schmidty just said that's not an accurate measurement?

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

Aw man just when I thought I was getting my head around it haha. Would fuel stations have a msds sheet or information sheet on their fuels listing the values that I could get if I asked?

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

I'm not really chasing power gains from the fuel itself, more so the gains from the high compression and advanced curve. I just want a fuel that will compliment the setup and be "reliable". Maybe avgas is the go

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

So that's a no to the octane booster and a no to the methanol mix, I'll check the prices of the 120 octane vp although it's probably going to be 250-300 a 20l drum. So tell me about avgas, what's the difference between 100ll avgas (100 octane) and normal premium unleaded. Apart from the slight...

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

It's a flat water only boat 1100 dasa. You mean run straight avgas? Would 98 fuel plus some decent octane booster suffice?

    Race gas... Methanol... Avgas even??

Hi all, im looking at converting to high compression on my dasa and running race gas, although price and availablility is far from perfect. Has anyone looked at mixing say 25% methanol with 98 ocatane fuel? My sums put this mix at about 103 octane. Is this actually an option or should i just...

    Engine bogging after flip

Hi all, I'm running an 1100 dasa in my Footrocket its sporting an msd total loss system, pf pipe and a set of 48mm novi carbs. It's a great combination and plenty of power except that it seems after I come round from a flip the engine bogs down to a point where it's struggling to get moving...

    760 64x with 61x Cdi?

So I went digging through the shed and found an old 64x cdi, mounted it in a pelican box and it all fired up right away. Water test today! I'll keep an eye out for a 61x flywheel and stator to swap over one day when I feel keen again

    760 64x with 61x Cdi?

So definitely a no go with the weirdo 64x flywheel setup? Difficult to swap it all out for a 61x flywheel and stator?

    760 64x with 61x Cdi?

Hi all, longgggg time lurker here and I usually find what I need by searching but getting mixed results with this one. Anyway long story short I'm finally nearing completion of a long term superjet build using parts I've found laying around or have upgraded, the engine is a 760 64x out of a...
