Hey guys just bought a Yamaha motor for my q8, have always ran a kawi set up what will I have to do to get it to bolt in? I'm new with Yamaha stuff. And I've read different things on here about shaving the bedplate or custom rhass mounts. Just looking to clarify what really needs to be done...

does anyone know if there is a deference between 750 flywheels and sxr? and what the differences are? i have a 750 motor out of a 98 stx that I'm trying to run sxr Ebox and stator but it is running like crap feels like its on one cylinder. help please

don't put the sxr tank in! i did it even though eric told me not to. its a pain if you want to tighten you handle pole bolts or work on anything in there, i made a 3 gallon custom tank that i can take in and out with out having to take the motor out. i would say if your not making one jet a jazz...

yeah that's more or less what I did and then I cleaned serface and panel adhesive it on there and no luck but I will try to get a hold of Eric

they were the eme original inserts and they have ripped out 3 times ive tried panel adhesive, fiberglass, epoxy and carbon. and prepped right to my knowledge but I will try this west systems gflex stuff. what is your prepping technique @N3vrSat1sfied? and this is a carbon hull

hey i skimmed this thread and i didn't see anything about the gas tank inserts ripping out, has anyone had this problem? mine have came out 3 times now i don't know how to fasten them on to the hull (carbon hull)

I live 5 mins jet ski ride away from lake Ontario and yes it can be good waves but its not the same kinda wave and its harder to pull flips and or land cuz the wind it blowing you over

being from Canada we don't have any surf. i would be down to stay at a camp site that is 30 mins away. is there any place you can park a truck and or trailer for the day and beach cart the skis to the beach?
