sorry guys for being a meat head, got the motor out of the ski and start taking the starter off and one of the bolts was on the bottom of the ski and the rest were barely even in there... worse then finger tight lol So that solves my wonder about how the starter and the bendix and the flywheel...

what ive found is if your landing really hard position yourself back a little farther to get the noise up and back down. just what ive found, looks good though! cheers

ya i noticed that on the flywheel but on the bendix and the starter gear they are both F'd all the way around, im thinking someone might have installed the bendix wrong but im not sure how that can be done??

it also keeps sand and crap out of the spline area so you dont have wear on the spines. get a new one and make sure the splines are greased up nicely before reinstalling. i did so and noticed that that gross rattle sound when out of water was no longer there!

any machine shop will do it also i keep hearing that #zero does good work as well
