Ya thats me, the ski ripped right out of my hands when the wave hit me! I almost pulled the left odi hand grip off, it was totally lose after that! My neck is still sore from one of the flips but we had fun! Connor face planted so hard his face was numb for the rest of the day!:smile:

I have a Superfreak Badass -2 for surf. can I put a RRP pole on it. ? I like the pole tight so it doesnt move much, with no spring. My pole is a LTD and its just too short for surf

We finally got the Superfreak running right and my 16 year old son Connor did his first backflip. The landing didn't turn out so well but he looked good in mid flight! I'll make a video later

This is Randy Laine at Todos Santos a few years ago. I havnt seen pictures or video of anyone riding a bigger wave. The story goes that Randy went out with a bunch of pro surfers and they had video of him riding these monster waves but since he wasnt surfing the photographer deleted the video...

We had 8 to 12 foot waves last saturday, here is a little video. If you havnt had a chance to ride some BIG waves, it truly is amazing and a video cant do it justice! I get taken out by a good sized wave at the end of the video!

Ok so the rider is actually doing a front flip. I think this counts for first front flip on a ski. The ski is back flipping the rider is front flipping!
