No thats not true some skis will tune differently like for example my SXR when its not sizzling (bottom and middle closed, top open) the ski has more low end so i just it depends on where you want your power

ya i was thinking that but does it clear the steering cable bcuz it is in line with the cable and when i mocked it up it looked like it would interfere with the cable? If it doesn't interfere than great and i have my answer!
