How in the world have you not broke your pole yet?
Funny you said that bcuz i had reinforced the pole about 4x just to last the summer! haha but now i have the RRP on there so another reason i want to ride!!!!
Well now I'm really wondering if i want to change it at all bcuz i don't want any more passers in the side of the hull and it cools fine as is so i might just tap the hole in the pump just to do it then pug it for now until i mod the ski so i really needs it.
Thanks man!
Alright i finally understand it all i get where things flow and i would be using the 2 separate systems one to engine (exhaust manifold) and one to the pipe... one thing is it worth it?? Can that possibly hurt anything cuz where i am the water is really cold (50) to warm (78 tops) then cold...
Blowsion makes a sick one a little bit or same size as an advil container ( don't ask how i thought of that comparison) and it is dead easy to see and take apart and clean!
i take mine apart and look at it every ride. takes 30 seconds top...
No thats not true some skis will tune differently like for example my SXR when its not sizzling (bottom and middle closed, top open) the ski has more low end so i just it depends on where you want your power
Alright i think I'm getting this so your saying that one of the cooling from the pump goes to the exhaust manifold (which it is now) and the other goes to the bottom of the head pipe?
If thats so i have more questions.
one ? is why is the hose coming off the bottom of the head pipe going to...
OK not quite following so i took a pic and marked out what i was thinking
(Green) is water in 1 that will be the new hole tapped in the pump going to the head.
(Blue) is water in 2 and will be the stock hole off the pump going to the exhaust manifold.
(white) is the exhaust out coming out of...
ya i was thinking that but does it clear the steering cable bcuz it is in line with the cable and when i mocked it up it looked like it would interfere with the cable?
If it doesn't interfere than great and i have my answer!
i used to order online from them all the time and :-):-):-):-) like that would happen now i just call and its a lot easier and better to just talk to the guys down there!!:notworthy:
alright thats exactly what i was looking for. also i forgot to say i have a blowsion stubby cone on there does that work well with the bored nozzel?
Also i am going to drill and tap the pump for dual cooling where should it be drilled?
I was thinking where the red holes are in the pictured...
Alright cool now another question
i hear boring the stock nozzle will give a little more bottom end cuz it allows more water though, is that true if so what nozzle is bored and what size? can you do both ( In the pic the black steering nozzle and or the regular nozzle?)
What are the stock...
ya all I'm trying to do is pull the hole pump so that i can drill and tap another hole for dual cooling
so that will work i can just pull straight back and it will slip off the splined inner shaft?
