Did you ever figure out what it was? I just put a superjet together and I am having the same issue. Ski turns over very slow, almost just Lopes over with the plugs in. I can't figure it out.

The ski most likely had a B pipe or some aftermarket exhaust on it before that a previous owner took off and put this exhaust on before the sale

Do you have any pics of your setup? I was curious if a thrust steering nozzle would work with the x metal trim. Is yours 155 also?

Have been slacking lately but finally got a match under my ass after watching all the local boys starting to get wet. Sold the 144 mag and bought a clean oem 155 out of a b2. Bought thrust steering instead of the blowsion I originally planned on. Ran my trim and steering cables and modded the...
Yea yours was the one I seen that was two toned. I think you and I are the only two toned phantoms that Josh has laid up.

[emoji106] I always liked look of the chopped and rockered superjets. I thought it would be the perfect all around ski, almost bought one local before I bought my am hull.

Yea I'll look into grinding them, I almost got them as they are now. Yea they go up front but as mentioned before if you look they aren't bolted down. I was playing with the keeper trying to see how close I could get them to fitting with out grinding. The bolts were going through at a angle the...
Yea he really knows how to run a business. I knew someone was going to say that about the keepers lol they aren't bolted down though. I was messing with them trying to get them to fit on the couch mounts, they fit really tight on there.

First off I want to thank Josh (sinisterjosh209) for all the help so far with this build. The guy takes pride in his work, he is a animal and perfectionist when it comes to building these skis. Always there to answer any questions.
I went with his standard infused glass lay up with a little...
What's your budget? Cheap would be a good used hull. California Freestyle now offers their phantom hulls in a non infused form to the budget minded for $3500. His hulls are insanely nice quality and can't be beat for $3500.

I don't want to go 155 due to the fact of having to get a whole new trim set up. It seems to me that a 148 with 967 bore motor a lot of people are happy with.

So if I wanted to step up to a 148 pump I would just need a stator, wear ring and prop correct? I can still use my 144 nozzle and trim set up also my driveshaft?

I am looking into a ET 967. I have a 144 mag pump that I would like to keep in the ski. Will the mag load enough for the motor or will I need to step up to a 155? Thanks
