i ride at 5000ft 33cc domes put me at 180 its also going to matter if your ported you only lose about 7psi per 1000ft too so keep that in mind hope that helps

Check the squish seams to me it's to tight and causing a harmonic in the motor which is breaking the plugs. had the same thing happen to me. went to a bigger dome for more squish and it is fine now.

so my timing plate is advanced while i'm running a msd enhancer. Im thinking that may be my problem. what do you guys think?

i ported them with templates, and it is 62t cases. all ports are matched and have been put onto a flow bench. it was not my first port job i have done numerous cylinders and this is the only motor i have had trouble getting low end power.

my only problem is that im at 5000ft and i tried to run a single 48mm power bomb carb and didn't notice any difference between that and a 44mm stock carb and my pipe is tuned in so i just can't under stand why i'm not have the low end power. does any one think that the stock 38mm carbs off a sj...

if you can't find any thing i'm saying a little air leak on the back cylinder lean it out causing deto but running rich to over compensate on the low end, so it's not letting it to build up carbon, but on the the top end it leaning out so bad to deto leaving the scare due to the piston heating...
