As others said, you probably won't be able to get a conventional style bracket in there. But you can have a conventional style bracket custom made for it. I had to go that route on the ski I built. If you end up wanting to go that route, shoot me a PM, my files will probably work on a freak. I...
Both. An 8.5x16 or 17 would be ideal I think. I have limited space on my property, so I had to go on the smaller side.
Bed setup ran about $500 without the mattress. Most difficult part was finding non treated 4x4s that weren't complete garbage.

Goal with this build was to have a multi purpose trailer. Something that I could haul skis in, but also camp comfortably in. Also wanted it to be ready to hook up and go anytime.
What it looked like when I bought it. Pretty rough.
First thing was to rip out all of the old walls and that...
Just fix the hood and ride some surf. You will forget about all of this after you get out there. No better therapy than surf riding. Also, the offer still stands. You and your hubby bring the ski over to my shop and we'll have the hood sealing perfect in no time. Free of charge. Or better yet...
Rip the seal out and fix how the hood sits in the channel. There are far worse issues that people have faced with AM hulls. Yeah it should fit perfect from the manufacturer, but at some point you just gotta take care of the problem yourself for the sake of getting out there and riding.

I've probably seen you guys at the creek at some point. I ride right off of beach access 4 in surfside/follets island (5min from San Luis pass). Either Sunday or Monday. We'll have to meet up one of these weekends.

Sunday is going to be the best day probably. Swell is still holding at 5' with a nice offshore wind. Saturday is going to be a mess. I can't remember the last time I saw an 8-10' swell hit the gulf outside of a hurricane. Going to be like Daytona two years ago on Sunday.
Yeah, I'm out of...
Not sure myself either. Sunday afternoon the wind is predicted to turn off shore which should make for some really clean sets. I'm pretty sure after dealing with the 8' blown out waves on Saturday, I'm not going to have anything left in me to ride Sunday.

Hey Tony. If you have an enclosed trailer or a toy hauler, just drive it on the beach and set up camp. Otherwise bring a tent and the usual camping stuff. As for parts breaking, I break something different every trip. You never really know. Bring a replacement nozzle set, rideplate, and plugs...
Exactly why I roll in a 97 Chevy with bullet holes and no door handles. I've got these kids who work for me buying $50k trucks then have no money to pay their bills or buy food and still live at home. Talk trash to me in the morning about my truck and then go without food for lunch. I just...
I use it a lot. Just need to calculate your layer height and where you want the new layer height to start and end. It's very useful when printing objects that have large radius curves in the Z axis. Without it you are either stuck printing your entire piece at 0.1 or you will have a nice flat...
My preference is slic3r. I like cura too, but slic3r has a lot more options to dial in your prints. A bit more of a learning curve.
