Pretty much my exact experience with them. I had to email the CEO to get any help. Whats even crazier is I'm a dealer and they were still slow to do anything. When working with other vendors its never an issue. Just a bad company all around. I'm with you on the antigravity.
I can't speak for the other batteries, but I can tell you from personal experience DO NOT buy a Ballistic. I got 15 minutes on mine before it completely failed and their customer service is a complete joke.
I'm enjoying seeing all the short track sleds in this thread. Grew up in Buffalo so it's a familiar sight. Figured I'd toss up pic up of my ride. Been very happy with the pro.
Just a quick pic of the 781 I'll be tossing in the ROK-R. Nothing special, but it's a good place to start while I justify the money on a bigger powerplant.
I'm shocked how much it weighs. Honestly the lay-up doesn't seem that thick but I've never seen a A/M hull in person to compare it to. It was kinda a buzz kill when I got it today and put it on the scale :(
I agree, not sure there is any decent way to go about foam. My local riding spot is fairly shallow, flat and close to shore. Hopefully it doesn't find its way to the bottom
Yes the hull without the hood is 79 pounds.
It will be interesting to get it on the water and see what the hull is all about. It could go either way. Hopefully I can use this thread to help answer everybodies questions about the ROK-R.
First let me start by saying I'm not new to the watercraft world, but I am new to flatwater freestyle. Riding and building this ski will definitely be a learning experience for me and I'm sure I will have some hurdles ahead of me and plenty of questions. That being said I look forward to the...
I look forward to giving some honest feedback on the ROKR once the lake thaws :) I've never ridden or owned an AM hull so it will be hard to compare it to the competition. At the same time I think a lack of experience on an AM hull might make my ride report insightful. I guess we'll find out...
Thanks. I will be sure to post some feedback once I get a chance to ride it this spring. Hopefully I can shed some more light on the mysterious ROK-R :)
