I used appliance paint on the bottom and Krylon on the top about 6 years ago. the appliance paint still looks pretty good where it hasn't been rubbed off. The Krylon has faded a lot. It looked good when I first sprayed it though. I even wet sanded it. I think pretty ski's are a character flaw...

Your basket case looks nicer than my current ski. Don't fix it up too nice, they're meant to be ridden. Pretty ski's are an indication of a character flaw.

fixed steer ski's are fun to surfride without getting upside down. Just run it with no foot holds or straps.
