All you needed to do was drill and tape the two holes 1/8" NPT and install two pipe plugs with teflon tape, no chance of leaking O-rings then.

Don't do it stock bumpers are the best IMO and don't require repair. If you need turf for hood tricks just put a short pc on top of the bond line near the hood. Mark44

You may want to consider 3/16" on fuel line for a more secure fit, measure your carb fittings. Mark44

I use yellow PVC fuel and lubricant line from McMaster Carr on the fuel lines. 3/16" on carbs . Water line is just the black water line from NAPA. Mark44
