I get mine at motor cycle shop for about 2 bucks each they have the brass filter inside, never an issue. -
Other lexan vs. optix
Lexan is different from your typical poly sheet, Lexan can be sheered and bent easily and your typical poly sheet will shatter and crack but not at bad as acrylic. Mark44 -

Its probably 1/4" npt then not 3/8" They are not aking for the ID of the threaded end just the hose that goes on the barb. -
