Did the weld break or are you just looking for something with more bark? The weld where the aluminum pipe meets the silencer box is known for cracking on the earlier octanes. Most people have it welded and gusseted. Otherwise I believe the water box is made by factory pipe as well...

Doesn't Crank over at all? Start switch faulty or solenoid on fire wall. Check the connections for corrosion on the starter relay on the firewall and at the battery.

That looks nice!! Do you have a mill or was a machine shop able to do that for you? Very interested to hear what type of a difference you feel and if it last. It looks like whoever did the machining spent a lot of time balancing it so it probably will stand the test of time.

I have a black cover from blowsion. Fits well and has zip out for putting wet gear in the tray and zip out for gas cap access. I would recommend though have not seen anything else.

You may want to consider just building an adapter plate out of Aluminum like the Octanes have to run a Yamaha Pipe.

Id start with the usual suspects -fuel filter -cracked fuel lines leaking air -bad primer bulb or plunger if applicable (they can leak air into fuel lines) -carb gasket good luck tracking it down
